90DayBlitz ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company") operates the 90DayBlitz mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
90DayBlitz is an accountability coaching application built around a 90-day commitment program. The core premise of the program requires participants to leave their home each day to take action toward their goals. Location tracking, geofencing, and background location monitoring are fundamental, essential features of the App — not incidental add-ons. Users download and use this App specifically to be held accountable for leaving their home, and the geofencing system is the mechanism that verifies this commitment. By using the App, you acknowledge that location-based accountability is the central purpose of the service.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you through the following channels:
In-App Forms: Account registration, geofence setup, profile editing, workout logging, and vibes check submissions.
Email Communications: Messages you send to our support email address.
In-App Support: Messages submitted through the built-in Contact Support feature.
Third-Party Sign-In (Optional): If you choose to authenticate via Google OAuth.
1.2 Personal Information You Provide
When you create an account and use the App, we collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:
Account Information: Email address, password (stored in encrypted/hashed form), first name, and last name.
Profile Information: Display name and profile photo (optional).
Home Address: Street address or coordinates that you provide to set up your geofence. This is converted to latitude and longitude coordinates for geofencing purposes.
Mood and Wellness Data: Voluntary mood check-ins ("Vibes Checks"), including ratings and optional free-text notes.
Support Messages: Messages you send through the in-app support feature, including your name, email, and message content.
User Notes: Any personal notes you write within the App.
1.3 Location Data
Location data is a core component of the App's functionality. We collect the following location information:
Precise GPS Coordinates: Your device's latitude and longitude, used to determine whether you are inside or outside your designated geofence (home area).
Geofence Entry and Exit Events: Timestamps recording when you leave and return to your home geofence area.
Time Outside Home: Duration calculations based on geofence entry/exit events, used to measure your daily commitment.
Background Location Data: The App monitors your location in the background to detect geofence transitions even when the App is not actively open. This is necessary to accurately track when you leave and return home throughout the day.
Why we collect location data: The entire accountability model of 90DayBlitz is built on the commitment to leave your home and take action. The geofence system is how the App verifies that you have fulfilled this daily commitment. Without location tracking, the App cannot perform its core function. You explicitly opt into location tracking when you set your home address in the geofence setup screen.
1.4 Activity and Commitment Data
Clock-In Records: The time you check in each morning, your assigned wake-up time, and whether you checked in on time.
Workout Logs: Exercises completed, muscle groups targeted, workout type, completion status, and XP earned.
Soreness Ratings: Self-reported soreness levels per muscle group (scale of 1–5).
Blitz Progress: Your start date, committed days, reset count, and daily completion status across all three accountability pillars (wake-up, workout, and geofence/turf commitment).
Penalty Records: Automatically generated accountability penalties when daily commitments are not met, including amounts, dates, and reasons.
1.5 Automatically Collected Information
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers used for push notification delivery.
Session Data: Authentication tokens and session information necessary to keep you logged in securely.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Core Accountability Tracking: To monitor and verify your daily commitments (wake-up, workout, and leaving home), which is the fundamental purpose of the App.
Geofence Monitoring: To detect when you leave and return to your home area and calculate time spent outside, verifying your daily "turf" commitment.
Coach Visibility: To provide your assigned coach/administrator with visibility into your progress, commitment history, and daily activity so they can provide personalized guidance and accountability.
Leaderboards and Rankings: To calculate and display commitment streaks, workout streaks, and time-outside metrics in comparison with other participants.
Push Notifications: To send you real-time alerts when you leave or return to your geofence area, and to deliver relevant program notifications.
Workout Planning: To generate and manage your personalized 90-day workout plan based on your preferences and soreness feedback.
Penalty Management: To automatically generate accountability penalties when daily commitments are missed, and to allow coaches to review, excuse, or manage penalties.
Customer Support: To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account.
Service Improvement: To understand how the App is used and improve our features and user experience.
3. Sharing and Disclosure of Your Information
3.1 With Your Coach/Administrator
Your coach or program administrator has access to your activity data, including:
Clock-in records and wake-up compliance
Workout logs and completion status
Geofence entry/exit events and time outside home
Vibes check ratings and notes
Blitz progress, committed days, and streaks
Penalty history
Profile information (name, profile photo)
This coach visibility is a core feature of the accountability program. By enrolling in the program and using the App, you consent to your coach having access to this information for the purpose of providing accountability coaching.
3.2 Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services in the operation of the App:
OpenStreetMap Nominatim: When you enter your home address, we send the address text to the Nominatim geocoding service to convert it into geographic coordinates. Only the address you provide is transmitted; no other personal data is shared with this service.
Google OAuth (Optional): If you choose to sign in with Google, your authentication is processed through Google's OAuth service. We receive only your email address and basic profile information from Google. Use of Google sign-in is entirely optional.
Expo Push Notification Service: We use Expo's notification infrastructure to deliver push notifications to your device. Your device's push notification token is shared with Expo for this purpose.
3.3 We Do NOT
Sell your personal information to any third party or affiliate.
Share your location data with advertisers or data brokers.
Share your personal information, including push notification identifiers or device tokens, with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Use your data for targeted advertising. The App contains no advertisements.
Share your data with analytics or tracking companies. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar services.
3.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4. Location Data — Detailed Disclosure
Because location data is particularly sensitive, we want to be fully transparent about how it is handled:
What is collected: Precise GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude)
When it is collected: When the App is in the foreground AND in the background, after you set your home address
How often: Foreground: approximately every 3 seconds or 5 meters of movement. Background: upon geofence boundary crossing events
Geofence radius: 50 meters from your set home location
What is stored: Home coordinates, geofence enter/exit events with timestamps
Who can see it: You and your assigned coach/administrator
How to stop it: Remove your home address in the geofence setup screen, or revoke location permissions in your device settings
Data retention: Stored for the lifetime of your account; deleted upon account deletion request
Background Location Use: The App uses background location access ("Always" location permission on iOS) specifically and exclusively to detect when you cross your geofence boundary (leave home or return home). The App does not continuously track or record your movements outside of geofence transition events. Background location is not used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than accountability geofence monitoring.
5. Data Storage and Security
5.1 Storage
Your data is stored on secure servers using PostgreSQL databases. Authentication credentials are managed through SuperTokens, an open-source authentication platform, which stores passwords using industry-standard hashing algorithms. Your data is not stored on your device beyond what is needed for the App to function (e.g., session tokens and cached preferences).
5.2 Security Measures
We implement the following security measures to protect your information:
Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
Password Security: Passwords are never stored in plain text. They are hashed using SuperTokens' secure hashing implementation.
Session Management: Authenticated sessions use secure, expiring tokens with automatic refresh.
Access Control: Protected API endpoints require valid authentication. Coach/admin access is role-restricted.
File Upload Restrictions: Profile images are limited to 5 MB and restricted to image file types only.
5.3 Limitations
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6. Data Retention
Account Data: We retain your personal information and activity data for as long as your account is active.
Activity History: Workout logs, clock-in records, geofence events, vibes checks, and penalty records are retained for the duration of your account to provide you and your coach with a complete accountability history.
Deleted Accounts: Upon receiving a verified account deletion request, we will delete your personal information and associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Portability
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Contact us at the email address below to make such a request.
7.2 Correction
You can update your profile information (name, display name, profile photo) directly within the App. For corrections to other data, contact us.
7.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email address below. Upon verification of your identity, we will delete your data within 30 days.
7.4 Location Permissions
You can control location access at any time:
Disable Background Location: Go to your device's Settings > Privacy > Location Services > 90DayBlitz and change the permission to "While Using the App" or "Never." Note that disabling background location will prevent the geofence from detecting when you leave or return home, which will affect your ability to complete your daily turf commitment.
Remove Home Address: Within the App, you can remove your home address from the geofence setup screen, which stops all location monitoring.
Revoke All Location Access: You can revoke location permissions entirely through your device settings. The App will continue to function for workout logging and clock-ins, but geofence-based accountability will be disabled.
7.5 Push Notifications
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings.
7.6 Account Deletion via App Store
In compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines, you may also initiate account deletion from within the App.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
No Sale of Personal Information: We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

10. International Users
If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your data on the following legal bases:
Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide you with the accountability coaching service you signed up for, including geofence monitoring and activity tracking.
Legitimate Interest: Processing necessary for the operation and improvement of the App.
Consent: Where you have provided explicit consent, such as opting into location tracking by setting your home address.
You may have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. Contact us to exercise these rights.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

Location tracking (including background location access) as an essential feature of the accountability program.
Coach/administrator visibility into your activity data, progress, and location-based accountability metrics.
Automated penalty generation based on your daily commitment compliance.
Data retention for the duration of your account to maintain your complete accountability history.
Your use of the geofence feature requires you to affirmatively set your home address, which constitutes your explicit opt-in to location-based monitoring.
